Mary Shelley – Mary Shelley’s creation came from a vivid nightmare about a doctor and his hideous monster. The next morning she wrote down her dreams and expanded on it.

Shakespeare – His characters have many psychic and future predicting dreams which always go on about their dreams and nightmares. Shakespeare’s characters often cannot tell the difference between dreams and reality.

Abe Lincoln – Before his assassination, Abe Lincoln dreamt that he heard sobbing downstairs of the White House. He awoke and went down to the parlor where a funeral was in session with many people crying. He couldn’t see who was in the coffin so he turned to a soldier next to him and asked who was inside and the soldier replied that it was the president who was assassinated. Lincoln woke up shaken but wrote down the dream. Less than 2 weeks later, President Lincoln was assassinated.

Keith Richards – A longtime member of The Rolling Stones, was credited for writing many of the bands most famouse songs. He dreamt the best songs by The Rolling Stones. He would wake up and put it on a cassette next to his bed, then turn over and go back to sleep.
