Hair

Hair represents outward conscious thoughts and feelings/sensitivity. Messy hair would mean mixed up thoughts, confused, can’t think straight.

If you dream of finding a hair in a piece of butter and it does not disgust you then you will be fortunate in all your dealings. You will take a long trip if you dream of combing beautiful hair. Ruffle someones hair and you will come into money. To dream you are getting bald foretells your generosity will cause you loss and mental anguish. Seeing your hair turning gray shows death or disease in the family. If a woman dreams of comparing black and white hairs show that she will receive two offers and must choose the best one.

Haircut

To dream that someone is giving you a haircut, suggests that you are experiencing a decreased sense of power. You may feel that you were criticized unfairly.

Hallucination

To have a hallucination in your dream, symbolizes an image from your unconscious. They can also represent repressed emotions and feelings that you do not want to confront. Your dream may be telling you to be more alert and to express yourself more clearly. Alternatively, it refers to self-deception. What are you trying to hide?

Hammer

If you dream of using a hammer to drive a nailcleanly into wood then you will meet with much success in whatever you choose to undertake in the near future. Hammock

To see a hammock in your dream, suggests that you need to devote more time to pleasure and leisurely activity. To dream that you are lying in a hammock, indicates that you may be pushing people away. Hand

Handcuffs

To see a pair of handcuffs in your dream, signifies sickness and misfortune. To dream that you are in handcuffs, suggests that something or someone is holding back your success. Opportunities are shut off to you. You are experiencing a loss of power and effectiveness. To see others in handcuff in your dream, denotes that you will overcome your adversaries.

Handkerchiefs

If you lose your handkerchief in a dream it is an omen showing that your engagement is in danger of breaking up. If your hankie is torn then the lover’s quarrels will be so bad that you will not be able to make up. If you see a stack of pure white handkerchiefs it shows that you will hold yourself true to your betrothed and enter into wedded bliss. Waving good-bye with it may denote disgrace for the dreamer.

Hat

To see a hat in your dream, signifies that you are concealing something or covering up something. Alternatively, it may represent the role you play or the responsibilities you have in life. To dream that you are wearing a top hat, denotes your aspirations for wealth.

Hawk

In Native American mythology, the hawk is the messenger. Therefore, if the hawk seems to be friendly, an important and probably positive message will come your way. Heat

To feel heat in your dream, indicates a feeling of shame or embarrassment. Alternatively, it represents purity and creative energy.

Hedgehog

To see a hedgehog in your dream, suggests that you are being overly sensitive. You tend to take everything too personally. Alternatively, it refers to losing your soul.

Helicopter

To see a helicopter in your dream, represents your ambition and achievements. You are in full pursuit of your goals. Hive

This dream may represent your lifestyle. You are probably extremely active and working very hard at the moment. And just like the busy bees, you need to be well organised. If you dream of something upsetting the order of the hive then this represents the factors that are disrupting the smooth running of your waking life activities.

Hole

To see a hole in the ground, denotes hidden aspects of your activities. On the other hand, it may mean that you are feeling hollow or empty inside. This dream may be an awakening for you in that you need to get out and expose your self to new interests and activities. To dream that you fall into a hole, signifies a pitfall in a situation in your life or that you are stuck in a hole. Perhaps, you have dug yourself into a hole and can not get out of it.

Homeless

A symbol of total powerlessness. 1. If the dreamer is the homeless one, then he or she is facing an unpleasant situation, which seems to have no solution. But if, in the dream, the weather is good, the dreamer has more strength than he or she thinks. If the weather is bad, however, there is little or no hope, and it might be best if the dreamer just cuts the losses and moves on.
2. If the dreamer sees a band of homeless people, then this is a dream of contrary. The dreamer may not be aware of it, but there are people around who care for him and are willing to help him out of his difficulties.

Horse

If you dream of a herd of wild horses roaming wild and free it could be a fantasy wish fulfillment for your waking daydreams of freedom from cares and responsibility. To dream of riding a dark horse shows that you will be successful in your business but use shady dealings to get where you are. If your dream is of white, or light colored horses then your fortune or your love is assured.

According to Freud, horses symbolize the sexual drive. Jung suggested that dreams about horses could be indicative of health conditions.

It is also suggested that dreams about horses can represent clairvoyance and fertility.

Hospitals

To dream that you are a patient in a hospital shows that you may soon be exposed to some contagious disease and there is the possibility that you will contract it. If you are only visiting a hospital then you will be able to avoid the illness. To see a friend in a hospital shows that you will soon here some distressing news about that person.

Hotels

Hotels are great places. A cheap hotel is the epitome of tackiness and indecency, while a nice hotel is the picture of elegance, wealth, and romance. To dream of a hotel usually brings you to one of these two poles of awareness. Either you are hiding-out of guilt or adultery-or you are basking in the power of wealth or romance.

Hour

To dream about the hour, refers to a passage of time. The dream may serve to remind you of an appointment, deadline, or anniversary. Consider the significance of a particular number or any superstitions that may be associated with a particular hour. For example, 12pm represents some confrontation or turning point. To dream about happy hour, represents sensual enjoyment, stimulation, and relaxation. You are filled with inspirational power and enlightenment. Alternatively, it indicates avoidance in dealing with your problems and in facing your anxieties.

House

House represents your mind. The floors in the house represent different levels of thinking. The mind is made up of three major parts: the conscious mind, the subconscious mind and the super-conscious mind. Within these three parts are seven levels of consciousness. The house is where you stay/live - your belief system.

Hugging

If a woman dreams she is hugging other men then her husband, she will become involved in an affair that could threaten her marriage. If you dream of hugging in a general way, you will lose your lover or your business. Hugging itself is a show of affection, but in a dream it is not a very good omen, the effects of which could be toned down to a general warning if the other signs in the dream allow it.

Hypnotize

To dream that you fail to be hypnotized, signifies that troubles hovering over you in which you and you alone can rise above.
