UFOs

The psychologist Carl Jung believed that UFO’s are a symbol, akin to the reappearance of Christ, that represent hope in an age of technology. They take on an almost religious dimension as circular mandala symbols to represent the higher self. Jung wrote that the worldwide stories of the UFOs are ‘a symptom of a universally present psychic disposition’. The unconscious can manifest itself everywhere and crosses social divides. In dreams, UFO’s may represent your desire to find the true spiritual purpose of life and the wholeness of self.

Umbrella

To see an umbrella in your dream, denotes a shield against your feelings. It also symbolizes financial protection and security. To see an unopened umbrella in the rain, indicates that you are opened to your own feelings and emotional needs as you let the rain drench you. To see an opened umbrella in the rain, signifies fortune and good luck in your endeavors. To see a leaky umbrella in your dream, denotes quarreling with loved ones. You are also unprepared to face your problems.

An umbrella may protect you from life’s storms.  Or you  may be avoiding new ideas or insights from your unconscious.

Underground

If the dreamer dreams he is in a house built underground is an omen that can mean more then one thing and must be analyzed with the entire dream in mind. The first thing it means is a chance of loss of fortune and reputation if certain aspects of daily living are not changed. The second is a need and desire for greater security; hence hiding from life by living ‘underground’. Another would be a withdrawing from all aspects of life that may interfere with the dreamers peace of mind, or reluctance to make decisions.

Underwater

To dream that you are underwater, suggests that you are feeling overcome with emotions and are in need of greater control in your life. You may be in over your head regarding some situation. To dream that you are breathing underwater, represents a retreat back into the womb. You want to return to a state where you were dependent and free from responsibilities. Perhaps you are feeling helpless, unable to fulfil your own needs and caring for yourself. Alternatively, you may be submerged in your emotions.

Unicorn

A unicorn may represent innocence and purity as the most wise and powerful of mythical beasts.  The unicorn stands for power, imagination and resolution of conflict.

Uniform

When you see a uniformed person in your dream it denotes that a wealthy friend will come to your aid. To see an array of strange uniforms may indicate that Your country is on the brink of war or that you are warring with yourself, especially if you wear one, about a matter you do not want to face. To dream of a sad faced soldier portends bad news or illness for a far away loved one.

Urine

Urine may represent the feelings that you reject. You are trying to cleanse yourself of the things that you consider unworthy. However, dreams of urinating are usually caused by a full bladder. They have little symbolic significance- you should have gone before you went to bed.

Utensils

To see utensils in your dream, indicates innovation. It also signifies your willingness to help others and lend a hand.
